SLOW COOKER CABBAGE ROLLS

It took me so long to cook the cabbage because I didn’t really have a recipe for it. It must be said that the smell of cabbage is not necessarily what makes you want to go on an adventure!!! However, cabbage is a very wonderful vegetable. Green cabbage works very well (as does cabbage butter), it’s a generous vegetable (which allows you to eat so many servings with one cabbage so much that it takes volume!) and especially the cabbage is inexpensive! In short, I never get tired of eating cabbage in all these forms this year!

*Ingredients:

°1 head of cabbage
°3 cups tomato juice
°1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
°1 egg
°1/2°C uncooked brown or white rice
°1 sachet of onion soup
°1 lb. Ground turkey or lean ground beef
°1/3 cup parmesan cheese

  • Directions :

Peeled 8-12 leaves from the head of cabbage also placing them in the microwave-safe plate. Covering with about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of water analyzed microwave on high heat for 2 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine tomato sauce, eggs, turkey or beef, rice, onion soup, and cheese, and mix with fingers until well combined.
Grease a crockpot with some Pam cooking spray.
Placing ball of meat mix in the center of each cabbage leaf also roll to ball, place crockpot side down. Do this to all meat mixture is gone.
After placing every cabbage roll in the crockpot, pour 3 C of tomato juice on it.
Simmer on low heat for 6-8 h.
