INGREDIENTS
1/2 onion (chopped)
2 pounds ground beef
1/8 c. Worcestershire sauce
8 ounces shredded Cheddar Cheese
8 ounces shredded Monterrey jack cheese
(1) 32 ounces bag of tater tots
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp Steak Seasoning
How to make Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole
Step 1: Cook the ground beef until brown. Then, add the chopped onions
to the ground beef and continue to cook until soft.
Step 2: Now, add the steak seasoning, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire
sauce to the ground beef and onion mixture. Stir well until combined, then
pour it in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Step 3: Evenly spread the Monterrey jack cheese on the ground beef
the mixture then tops with a single layer of tater tots.
Step 4: Place the baking pan in a 375 degrees oven and bake the
casserole for approximately 25 minutes, uncovered.
Step 5: Take the casserole from the oven and sprinkle with shredded
cheddar cheese. Place it back in the oven and resume baking until the
cheese has melted.
Step 6: When done, remove from the oven and serve the casserole
immediately with your favorite burger toppings. If desired, you can add
extra onions, tomatoes, bacon, or pickles.
