Strawberry Shortcake Recipe
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
- Cake Dough – Cold, Frozen or Homemade
- Strawberry
- Strawberry Jelly
- Cornstarch
- Sugar
- Water
- Whipped Cream
Sounds easy right? Well, that’s because it is. We like to use a frozen or chilled pie crust because it makes things easier here, but you can definitely make your own for this recipe.
Strawberry shortcake is such a fresh and delicious dessert that we make it literally once a month during spring and summer. Now it doesn’t necessarily have to be seasonal because I honestly don’t need anything spicy.
I love grilling in the Twinter, it’s hard to use a grill in knee-deep snow so we’ve invested in a smoke-free indoor grill that works wonders.
I guess if you feel like it, don’t rely on what you eat according to the season!
